Khaled Elatwi

Dr. Khaled El-Atawi is a Consultant Neonatologist in NICU Pediatric department, Clinical Quality Specialist, Latifa Women and Children Hospital, and Lecturer of Pediatrics in Dubai Medical College.

Dr. El-Atawi was graduated from faculty of medicine, Ain Shams University, EGYPT in 1989 then had his Master in Pediatrics from faculty of medicine, Ain Shams University, EGYPT in 1994.

In 2009 he achieved his Master in Healthcare Management from Royal College of Surgeon of Ireland and in 2014 he had his PhD from Ain Shams University, EGYPT with honor. And he is also Fellow of the Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health of LONDON since 2017 and in 2019 had his Hospital Management Professional Diploma by the American Board for Quality, Science and Technology with a grade of Excellence.

His fields of interest are; Neonatal Ventilation, Neonatal Nutrition, Brain injury and protection. He also works with team on quality improvement projects with positive results especially on reducing incidence of severe IVH and ROP as well.

He is a Regional Trainer for NRP by AAP since 2014, He is an international Member in American Academy in Pediatrics and, he is a member in many international neonatal societies. Also he is Senior Editorial Board member of journal Pediatric and neonatal nursing, Journal of Pediatrics & Neonatal Care.

He is a speaker in many regional and international conferences, having many publications in the field of neonatology.
